The Ministry for Education, Culture and Science has been allocated MNT800 billion from the state budget this year, of which MNT3 billion is for secondary schools to spend on state and international Olympiads in various academic disciplines. Our journalist talks to the Chief of the Professional Education Board in the Ministry, M.Baasanjav, about how they plan to spend the money.

How long will it take?
I cannot give you any exact date but it will be in the near future. They are studying conditions in schools, districts, soums, aimags, cities, and at state and international levels.

How much did you spend on Olympiads in 2010? Why is the amount this year MNT3 billion?
We had planned to spend the same amount in 2009 and 2010.
