The new Ambassador of Ukraine, Yurii Kostenko, yesterday presented his credentials to President Ts.Elbegdorj. The President recalled his meeting with Ukraine”s President Viktor Yanukovych during the World Economic Forum in Davos last January and said his planned visit to Ukraine in June would help strengthen ties of cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership between Mongolia and Ukraine. Mongolia wants to extend the cooperation in the commercial and economic spheres and to increase the number of Mongolian students going to Ukraine on a scholarship.

Kostenko assured the President that Ukraine was preparing for the visit with care.
