The State Specialized Inspecting Agency (SSIA) has finished its monitoring of constructions financed by the state budget, foreign investment and loans in 2010. Altogether 2,628 irregularities were found, and 1,573 of these have been corrected. The SSIA has called for urgent rectification of the others.

The state budget allocated MNT90.08 billion for new construction and MNT21.1 billion for repair work. MNT1.3 billion of this was from the Asian Development Bank. A total of 313 buildings were built in 2010 and 377 repaired.
