O.Baasankhuu, a member of the Mongolian State Great Khural (parliament)  held press conference at the State House on Thursday (13th of October) regarding the nominees for the new Cabinet. According to him, there might be at least two members who have dual citizenship in the Parliament.

MP.Baasankhuu said, he intends to send an official letter to  President Kh.Battulga, the head of National Security Council and as well as Mongolian Intelligence Director B.Khurts, to clarify which of the 76 members of State Great Khural have had  dual citizenship in past, and, which may still hold a second passport.

Under constitutional rules, Mongolian politicians cannot be dual citizens.
