Mongolia’s acting Foreign Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil, received Mark Kamarovsky representing St Petersburg’s famous Hermitage Museum on 11th of October. During the meeting, the two sides discussed joint exhibitions in Ulaanbaatar as well as Russian and Eastern European cities using Mongolian artistic treasures from the Hermitage Museum.
Ts.Munkh-Orgil noted that the exhibition will plan an important role in further improving relations between the two countries and cultural cooperation. The Hermitage Museum currently holds some important objects of Mongolia’s historical heritages such as the “Chinggis’s stone record”, which is the most ancient record of Mongolian script and the ‘Gerege’, which is made of gold and silver.
