The 16th Congress of the Mongolian Writer’s Union began at the Junior Center for Creative Arts on 6th of October. During the congress, Mongolian writers will vote for the board members and its head. A total of 285 writers are participating in the congress.

The congress of Mongolian Writer’s Union meets every four years.
