The Joint Committee of the Mongolian and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) held its second meeting in Ulaanbaatar on 5th of October. Delegates led by V.Enkhbold, Director General, Trade and Economic Cooperation Policy and Coordination Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr Pascal Schafhauser, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Permanent Representative of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the United Nations discussed trade, the economy, cooperation issues, as well as agreed to develop cooperation on investment, the renewable energy sector, agriculture and light industry.
Furthermore, the two sides concluded to support Mongolian exports to EFTA countries and to cooperate under the international agreement on easing trade regulations.
