Left behind after trees have been felled, whether naturally or by the hand of man, the stumps can be kind of sad. But young talented artists from the Mongolian National Institute of Fine Art and Design have transformed the remains of the trees in front of Ulaanbaatar’s School number five, into things of beauty. The Administration of the Chingeltei District of the capital, requested the students to carve the felled trees at the school.
The students have carved a bear, a squirrel, and an eagle out of the remains of the trees.
