The Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency has held a drill to train officers in evacuating civilians to safety in the event of an earthquake. The two-day drill took place in Gobi-Altai, which is a western province of Mongolia. On 13th of September, the first day of the drill, over 14 thousand citizens of Yesunbulag participated in an evacuation practice after a hypothetical earthquake.
The drill continues today (14th of September) and is focusing on search and rescue operations following an earthquake.
