Russian oil major Rosneft has signed a MoU with the Mongolian Ministry of Road and Transport Development to supply jet fuel to the new international airport at  Khushigt Valley. Under the agreement, Russia will also supply the necessary aviation fuel hydrant system. During the signing ceremony, which took place on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, Mr. Igor Sechin Executive Chairman of Rosneft said, ‘I’m confident that cooperation between Mongolia and Russia will be developed in the road and transportation sector.

The Eastern Economic Forum is currently taking place in Vladivostok; it is being attended by many senior figures, including the presidents of Russia, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia as well as many business leaders.
