Members of the Mongolian Cabinet have held a meeting with the 21 provincial governors in State House to discuss winter preparations. More than 40 percent of Mongolia has been hit by severe drought.

According to P.Sergelen, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries, Mongolia needs to import 170 thousand wheat this year to meet demand. However, Mongolia will not need to import flour, the price of which will remain stable.
