The 20th incarnation of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche has been enthroned at the Betub monastery in Mongolia. The important Tibetan Buddhist ceremony took place earlier today (27th of July).
The 20th incarnation of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche is only twelve years old. Believed to be an ’emanation’ of the Buddha Amithaba, Bakuka Rinpoche arrived in Ulaanbaatar 19th of July in order to be enthroned as the Danzan Agvaan Jigmid Vanchig.
Kushok Bakula Rinpoche was born in India. In 2008, the Dalai Lama announced him to be the 20th incarnation of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche. The previous incarnation of the Bakula Rinpoche (1917-2003) was not only a monk but an important Indian politician.
