Large hailstones wreaked havoc in Khutag-Undur soum of Bulgan province  yesterday evening (24th of July). The tennis ball sized hailstones (2.5-4.0 cm) damaged many homes and possessions within the space of ten minutes. Worst of all, two children were slightly injured by the hail storm. The hailstones shattered the windows of 10 buildings, seriously damaged 20 gers and distorted the roofs of 64 houses. In addition, over 300 hectares of crops were destroyed.
