As of Monday (24th of July), the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has extinguished 16 forest fires in Bulgan, Selenge, Tuv and Uvs provinces. However, NEMA officers are still battling six forest fires in Selenge province. 

More than 100 NEMA firefighters, 754 soldiers and 432 volunteers have been on the front line of the battle with forest fires; now that the situation has abated, most of them have been recalled.
