The State Great Khural, as the Mongolian Parliament is known, holds its Autumn Session from 1^st of October to 1^st of February and its Spring Session from 5^th of April to 1^st of July. However, M.Enkhbold, Speaker of Parliament has extended the Spring Session until 7^th of July. Under  Mongolian Law, the Speaker of Parliament can extend the session by  up to 14 days.

Mongolia will hold the second, and final stage of the Presidential Election on 7^th of July. There was no outright winner in Mongolia’s presidential election on 26th of June, forcing the country’s first ever second-round run-off between the two leading candidates.
