Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, has become enveloped by smoke from forest fires. Fire fighters have been tackling two forest fire sites in nearby Tuv Province by helicopter. According to the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency, several forest fires are raging in Bulgan, Selenge, Khentii and Tuv Provinces.
On Tuesday, fire fighters managed to extinguish eight fires; however, another six forest fires continue to burn and are covering large parts of the country with smoke.
