Entitled ‘A Thousand Fathers’, a forum was held at the Palace of Culture in Ulaanbaatar on 29^th of May. The event was organised by the Social Development Committee of Ulaanbaatar city in cooperation with the Education Department as a part of an Educational Champaign for Mongolians.

A total of 1350 fathers, representing schools, kindergartens, political and non-governmental organisations participated in the first ever fathers’ forum.

In Mongolia, the family is curial part of national sovereignty, security and a guarantor of national development as well as playing a key role in the  educational process.
