The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed an agreement with Mongolia on Tuesday (23rd May) to donate eight million US dollars to finanace a national center for burns and orthopedic support.
KFAED said in a statement that the centre, to be built in the capital Ulaanbaatar, would be offering specialised medical aid for burns, fractured bones, cosmetic surgeries and rehabilitation. The donation will be allocated to cover construction, equipping and maintaining the centre, which is expected to be completed by December 2018.
The centre will cost USD 10 million, of which Kuwait will constribute USD 8 million.
The agreement was signed by Mongolian head of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and KFAED Director General Abdulwahhab Al-Bader.
