Prime Minister S.Batbold paid an official visit to Kuwait between January 4 and 6, by an invitation from his counterpart of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Mohamed Nasser, the Emir of Kuwait.
Premier S.Batbold and Sheikh Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Mohamed Nasser have concluded several official negotiations during the visit. S.Batbold also paid visit to the Kuwait Emir and Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait and Jassem Al-Kharafi, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait.
The two sides stated that the countries set up strong political relation and have interests to develop mutually beneficial ties in all spheres.
Also officials expressed that some projects have been successfully implemented along Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. Premier S.Batbold thanked Kuwait Fund and the Government of Kuwait for their financial support to projects of road construction and establishment of hydroelectric power station.
The sides noted significance of the cooperation in trade and economic sectors and agreed to encourage cooperation on infrastructure, road, urban development, mining, energy, agriculture, environment, education, culture, science, technology, communication, transportation, health, social insurance, defense and legal spheres. So the officials verified to take measures that to trend cooperation expansion to the above mentioned spheres.
Besides, Mongolian side thanked to the decision that Kuwait would increase the number of scholarships for Mongolian students.
Kuwaiti side confirmed its interests to export oil to Mongolia and Mongolian side stated its interests to attract Kuwait investment into Mongolian economic fields including mining, agriculture, health sectors development and mining resources raw material and mineral resources reserves exploration projects.
In addition, the sides stated their interests to cooperate in nuclear energy for peaceful purpose. Moreover, meat export to Kuwait is possible because of Mongolian livestock number and the sides offered to hold talks on the issue. Kuwait side gratefully received Mongolian suggestions and noted to implement issues.
Mongolia requested nonrefundable aid to build a pediatric hospital of children under 16 with diagnostic equipments and agreed to provide research on project and detailed data.
The two sides exchanged global facing issues and confirmed having the same positions. The officials emphasized to struggle terrorism in Asia Pacific region, to cooperate in the region, to support Palestine rights and independence, to become free of weapon of mass destruction in the Middle East and to strength collaboration of above written purposes in the UN and international organizations.
Premier S.Batbold attended the business forum Mongolia and Kuwait and gave speech about investment environment in Mongolia.
He expressed his gratitude that Kuwait friendly received him and Mongolian delegates and has invited his counterpart Sheikh Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Mohamed Nasser, the Emir of Kuwait to Mongolia in comfortable time for him. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Mohamed Nasser received the invitation and agreed to set up visit dates along the diplomatic relations.
