The Burte Chono annual ceremony, where
best athletes of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee receive awards, was
held in the evening of December 25 in the Studi-600 of the Mongolian National Public
Television. Defense Minister L.Bold, President of the Track and Field Athletics
Union,was selected the best President of  Sports Unions.

The following is a full list of
award winners. 

The
best athlete: S.Battsetseg. She was the first Mongolian woman to win a
world championship title in freestyle wrestling. Born in 1990, she belongs to Khilchin
Sport Khoroo.   

The
best young athlete: G.Erdenebold, who won the gold medal in the Youth
Olympic Games, the first Mongolian to do so.

The
best trainer: Duvchin Zeveg (free style wrestling),

The
best team: Men’s basketball team.

The
best secretary of a sports union: B.Jijandorj, of the Union of Sport Tour
with Adventure.

The
best of the best sports unions: The FreestyleWrestling Union with L.Chinbat
as President.

The
best sport union: The Sambo Wrestling Union.

The
best judge: E.Munkhbileg (Table tennis).

The
best of the best Olympic Councils: Barselona from Selenge aimag.

The
best Olympic Council: Monreal from Uvurkhangai aimag.

The
best of the best sports clubs: Khangarid sport khoroo from Erdenet.

The
best of the best sport constructions: The new sports palace.

Mongolian athletes won 120 gold, 85
silver and 139 bronze medals in international tournaments in 2010.
