There have been six cases of arson in Selenge aimag in
recent days and Police have no clue who are behind them. A working group has
been established to make further investigation. There has been no loss of life
but property has been destroyed, though there is no estimate of the damage.

In the two most recent cases two cars, two garages and one cottage were
set on fire on September 28-29. One resident of Sukhbaatar soum called our office
to say they are now afraid to sleep.
