The most important event of the start of the new academic
year this morning was President Ts.Elbegdorj teaching a class on Mongolian history
in Secondary School No. 28. Parliament Speaker D.Demberel was present in the
opening ceremony of Secondary School No. 106, while Prime Minister S.Batbold attended
that in the Science and Technological University, Minister of Education,
Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar in Secondary School No. 14, and in  Agriculture and Education Universities. Some
142,000 children will be in kindergartens this year, 522,000 children in
secondary schools, 44,000 in professional schools and 164,000 students in higher
educational institutions.
