The Bank of Mongolia has released its monthly mortgage report. In brief, 77105 people have currently taken mortgages, via the commercial banks.

The numbers of the people taking mortgages has fallen – in December 2015 this was a 32.3% reduction on the previous month and 56.9% less December 2014.

The amount of unqualified loans was 0.6% of the mortgages. The average mortgage period is period of 16-20 years.
