The selection process to choose the leader of the Democratic Women’s Federation (DWF) took place on 18^th January, during the 4^th forum of the federation. Four candidates participated in the selection, which can best be desicribed as “tough”. The vote ended around 18.00 pm. As a result, a member of the “Altan Gadas” faction, B.Urgamaltsetseg, and a member of the “Shonkhor” faction, S.Odontuya, took the highest number of votes. Even though, S.Odontuya received 13 more votes than B.Urgamaltsetseg, the process was repeated. Despite the rerun, S.Odontuya was appointed as leader of the DWF.
