Mongolia’s first female mountaineer, B.Gangaamaa, who has climbed Mt. Everest, has reported that she has successfully reached the summit of South America’s highest peak, the 6962m, Aconcagua. Her team partner, a mountaineer from Hong-Kong reached 5500 meters. B.Gangaamaa left Mongolia on 19th December 2015, to climb this, the highest mountain in the world outside Asia.
B.Gangaamaa has already climbed this mountain; in 2013, she led an all-female. On that occasion she chose the “easy” route to the summit of Aconcagua – on this occasion, however, she decided to tackle the tough path, which was first climbed by Poland mountaneers in 1934. B.Gangaamaa will arrive back in Mongolia, on 23rd January.
