This year, the Ministry of Nutrition and Agriculture is planningto import 40,300 tons of flour; the import quota will be 28,500 tons of high quality wheat flour, 10,500 tons of first-class wheat flour, 1000 tons of second-class wheat flour and 300 tons of meslin flour.

In total, 78 companies have requested the Ministry of Nutrition and Agricultureto allow them to import flour; in response, 65 have been granted permission – this being dependent on their capacity.Last year, 10 companies were allowed to import flour.
