“HARVONI”, the much talked about Hepatitis-C treatment, and for which many sufferers have long been waiting, finally went on sale last week. Initially, 1600 patients who have been diagnosed with severe hepatitis following a series of10 examinations and tests can now be able to buy “HARVONI” from approved pharmacies.

The one box of “HARVONI” costs a discounted USD 400. The full course of medication requires three boxes. The 1600 people are, therefore, buying the medicine for USD 1200 (MNT 2 million).

A total of 22 approved pharmacies, located in UB and the provinces, are selling “HARVONI”.
