The construction works of the road between “Tosontsengel-Uliastai” (114km) and “Bayanhongor-Baidrag Bridge” (129.4 km) which will be financed with an export-soft loan from the Chinese Government are ready to commence.
In 2010, during a visit by the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Wen Jiabao, the official agreement for a raft of USD 500 soft loans was approved. Under this agreement, 13 projects were approved by the Parliament for implementation in three sectors. The soft loan has an annual 2% rate and must be repaid within 20 years.
