The Chess Youth Competition, named after the Mongolian Champion, International Judge and Master of Sport, N.Namjil, was held over the weekend (24^th-25^th October). In total, 294 chess players aged between 6 and 18 years of age played on 7-9 chess boards, in accordance with the rules of the World Chess Federation (FIDE). The general FIDE judge, P.Jigjidsuren, officially oversaw the competition. The special prize went to very youngest participant: four-year-old, N.Sodgerel; another prize, the “Future Prospective Player” award went to E.Battamir from the “White Queen Club”.
