During the last currency auction, which was held on 15^th October, the commercial banks requested to buy USD 2.65 million for MNT 1989-1994.21, CNY 14.15 million for MNT 312.51-313.30, and to sell CNY 4 million for MNT 1994. In response, the Bank of Mongolia supplied USD 1.1 million for MNT 1994.00.

Also, the commercial banks requested a forward agreement to sell USD 25 million and swap agreement to sell USD 25 million. Also a tugrik-swap agreement to buy USD 12.3 million was proposed. The Bank of Mongolia accepted the tugrik-swap agreement.
