The “General Assembly of the International Association of Press Clubs-2015” started on 23^rd September in Ulaanbaatar. During the 2013 meeting, which was held in Poland, it is decided to hold the2015 event in the Mongolian capital. The International Association of Press Clubs (IAPC) was established in Dubai 13 years ago and aims to support the freedom of press.The IAPC has expanded over the years and now includes thepress clubs of the 40 countries. Representatives of seven countries are currently participating in Ulaanbaatar. These representatives attending include the: President and the Executive Director of the Australian National Press Club, the President of the Poland Press Club, the President of the Hong Kong Foreign Journalists Club, and a member of the board of the Berlin Press Club. During the current assembly, the President of Mongolian National Press Club was appointed as the President of the IAPC.
