Prime Minister visits CAREC Investment Forum

The “Erdenes Mongol Company” and the “Asian Development Bank” (ADB)organized the “Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Investment Forum”, which was held in Ulaanbaatar on 24^th September. Approximately, 350 representatives from 26 countries participated in the event. Senior officials of CAREC member countries discussed opportunities for attracting investment to their respective countries and also presented the sectors most in need of investment.

Mongolian Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg attended the afternoon meeting of the CAREC Forum, and expressed his thanks to the organizers. He also noted that: “The Asian Development Bank has been working as a partner of our country and over the last 25 years has co-operated on many projects. In the future, we hope to have many possibilities to deepen our partnership with the ADB and the CAREC member countries. Mongolia is working on huge projects which will strengthen the economy, many of which are awaiting for investors”.
