The chief of the “Ulaanbaatar Power Network” Engineering Department, E.Batmunkh has provided information regarding the preparations to ensure that UB citizens have electricity and heating for the winter. E.Batmunkh said work is 85% complete.  The “Amgalan Power Station” is to be launched this year; the extensions to the main transmission lines from Power Stations 3 and 4 took a place this year. On an average, 180-200 buildings require being provided with power annually. Officials have confirmed that the repairs and improvements mentioned above are enough to provide these demands for the next three years.
