Sixteen-year-old Mongolian breaks memory record

The “1st Asia Memory Championships – 2015” started on 22nd August in Hong-Kong. Twenty Mongolian participants from the “Intelligence Academy” are participating in five memory sports categories. On the first day of the “1st Asia Memory Championship 2015”, Mongolia took 5 gold, 9 silver, and 5 bronze medals. In the second category of the competition, which is called “binary digit”, the contestant must memorize as much as many binary numbers, the Mongolians took first 9 places. E.Purevjav, aged 16, and already an International Master of Sport, broke the record of Grand Master B.Namuuntuul’s 2970 figures by remembering 3105 figures.
