During the Conference marking the 25th Anniversary of Mongolia’s first democratic election, Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg gave an interview to Japan’s NHK television. NHK was interested to find more about the anniversary of first democratic election and the relationship of the two countries. The Prime Minister said: “Only Mongolia was able to continue the Democratic Revolution in Asia which had begun in Eastern Europe countries, following the fall of the Berlin Wall. Mongolian people, were against totalitarianism, and demonstrated that this is possible for Democracy to win without a gunshot, a broken window, or someone being killed. They presented an olive branch”.
