The project “Google Street View” which started in October 2014 is currently being successfully implemented in Mongolia. So far, 6000 km roads including the capital Ulaanbaatar and three eastern provinces have already been connected to Google Map. Also, Mongolian museums, such as the National Museum, Zanabazar Museum, and Bogd Khaan Museum have been included in the “Google Art Project”. Therefore, these museums have been classed as “must see museums of the world”. This co-operation with Google has many advantages for example: attracting tourists to Mongolia and, subsequently, increasing revenue from tourism, improving city safety and crime prevention. In addition, Ulaanbaatar is the first Asian city, which is connected to “Google Street View”. As a result, foreigners and locals alike can have information about Mongolian through Google Map, Google Search, and YouTube.
