There are many tourists who are interested in Mongolian nature and art. Therefore, the National Song and Dance Ensemble is performing “Wonders of Mongolian Art” at 18.00 pm every day. This is a new version of the well-know program and includes new choreographies of the “Tsam Dance”, contortion, and the traditional Mongolian Biyelgee dance which describes the special characteristics of our 21 aimags. We asked a French tourist named Rascal and his wife what they thought about the show.

-How did you feel on the show? Did you know something about Mongolian art before?

-The show was great. We were interested in Mongolian folk arts before we came. This show included many things, even though it lasted only for an hour. It was nice to watch so many performances in such a short time. Also, the artists are very skilful.

-Which part of show did you like the most?

-Of course, it was Khuumii. We only heard the name “Khuumii” for the first time today. At first, I was a little puzzled, and then I started to admire when the wonderful tunes came out. Also, the skills of the dancers were high. It seems that folk dance has so many meanings. The quality was great.
