Inaugurating the first forum of Mongolians
living and studying abroad Prime Minister S.Batbold on Monday said, “We
Mongolians now have to decide how we use the future. We stand at the threshold
of great opportunities and also bear the responsibility to lead the country
into the new century of economic development.”
The forum is being held at Government Palace under
the name “Our participation in Mongolia’s development”. Some 200,000
Mongolians live in other countries. About 300 researchers, teachers and students
living in 20 countries exchanged views at the forum where the atmosphere was
simple, friendly, and informal.
The Council to Cooperate with Mongolian Citizens

development will depend as much on its citizens as on adopting the right policies.
He detailed the Government’s thinking on several issues and stressed that every
citizen would receive MNT10,000 very month from
August.
The Prime Minister presented awards to some
citizens for their outstanding work. Among them were scientist I.Tseren-Ololt,

in Great Britain was awarded the prize for the best union.
