The Embassy of Mongolia in the Czech Republic, Representative Chamber of the Parliament of Czech Republic, together with the non-governmental organization Association of Mongolian Fellows, organized a scientific conference for the 65^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Czech Republic.  

Representatives of Czech universities and institutes and officials from governmental and non-governmental organizations participated in the conference and discussed several projects being implemented within the development cooperation program of the Czech Republic. Discussions were also focused on the history of research in Mongolian studies at the Karl Institute and future trends in this field of study, and cooperation between universities and institutes of Mongolia and the Czech Republic. Interesting reports on the work of the scientific academies of the two countries and the history of geological study of the Czech Republic and Mongolia were also presented.
