For the celebration of the 45^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Italy, the comedic opera "Livietta e Tracollo" will be performed in Ulaanbaatar on May 1 and 2 at the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

The performances are being made possible by the Mongolian Embassy in Italy, Ambassador Sh.Odonbaatar, and the Brunello Cucinelli and Federica Cucinelli Fund.  
 

The opera is being performed for the first time in Mongolia. The speaking and musical part of the opera will be performed by Mongolian actors and the singing will be done by Italian performers.  

An Italian musician will be playing the arciliuto, a double-necked lute, for the special performance.
