Special permission has been granted to QSC LLC, with a term of three years, to build 23.4 kilometers of railway with platform from the Tumurtei deposit in Khuder soum of Selenge aimag to the Khandgait Depot of Bold Tumur Eruu River LLC in Eruu soum.

Minister of Industry N.Tumurkhuu has been assigned to oversee the transfer of the railway to the state upon completion of the concession agreement with QSC LLC.

The railway will be used for the transportation of 3 million tons of iron ore from the Tumurtein deposit per year, and supporters of the project also believe it will help to develop small and medium enterprises in the region.
