The Minister of Labor S.Chinzorig received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from China to Mongolia Wang Xiaolong.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Wang stressed, “The role of your ministry plays an important role in the economic and trade relationship of our two countries, thus I have made a proposal to exchange views." The Ambassador pointed out that the implementation of certain projects and grant aid and loan programs which have been agreed upon within the strategic partnership of the two countries are crucial and important to their economic relationship, and urged that the parties actively work on the issue of labor, which is important to the present economic crisis.
The Ambassador proposed an increase to the number of employees received on employment contracts from China within the framework of the implementation of major projects jointly implemented by the governments of the two countries.
In return, Minister Chinzorig explained that during the economic crisis the amount of foreign investment has decreased and unemployment has increased, therefore it is impossible to increase the number of employees from China. He said that the ministry will pursue a policy to receive only employees with certification from the Ministry of Education and Science of China.
