The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Gregory Schetina, called on Speaker of Parliament Z.Enkhbold yesterday, during the Speaker's official visit to Poland at Schetina's invitation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Schetina stressed that the relationship between the two countries has been carried out with friendly relations and trust. The Minister said, "We believe that there are several possibilities to enhance this cooperation further. We should put attention on the economic and cultural cooperation of our countries, and your visit, Honorable Speaker, is very important for the development of the cooperation of our countries and raising it to a new level."
In turn, Speaker Z.Enkhbold expressed gratitude for the maintenance and promotion of democracy in Mongolia from the beginning. This year is the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Poland. The Speaker noted that in order to take the economic relationship to a new stage, duties and commitments will be given to the government.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that there are wide range of possibilities to develop Poland's relationship with Mongolia further. Besides political and economic cooperation, the sides exchanged views regarding the regional issues of Asia and Europe.
