A team of delegates from Mongol Bank and the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, headed by Director of the Financial Regulatory Commission Z.Narantuya, are paying an official visit to Japan from March 17 to 19.

During the official visit, the representatives from Mongolia have agreed on several proposals regarding the introduction of Japanese knowledge and experience in regards to the development of the Mongolian capital market, and to expand economic cooperation between the two countries. They paid visits to financial service agencies of Japan, JICA, the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Tokyo's goods exchange center, and Japan’s securities clearing corporation.  

Japan’s securities clearing corporation will evaluate, from a professional and methodological point of view, the transformation of the Mongolian Securities Clearing House and Central Depository, in an effort to transform it to an independent clearing registration organization and bring its activities to international standards 

The Tokyo Stock Exchange and goods exchange market stated that they are ready to cooperate to maintain the Mongolian Stock Exchange and mining and agricultural exchange markets.
