By the decree of the President of Mongolia, sumo wrestler Yokozuna Hakuho M.Davaajargal was awarded the esteemed title of Hero of Labor for his outstanding achievements in international sumo.

During the award ceremony, President Elbegdorj stated, “The Year of Horse, a symbol of luck, is passing away and the Year of Sheep, which symbolizes the happiness of entire population, is coming. The 69th Japanese sumo wrestling grand champion, Yokozuna Hakuho M.Davaajargal has won 33 times in the highest ranking sumo wrestling championship and established historical, new success in high ranking wrestling titles. Son of the wrestler Munkhbat, M.Davaajargal has been granted the title of Hero of Labor of Mongolia."

During the ceremony it was stressed that Mongolians now have a great and powerful hero father and son.
