Mongol Bank, the Economic Research Institute of Mongolia, and the joint consortium of Tenkhleg Zuuch, Active Zuuch, and Mongolian Properties issue a monthly index of apartment prices in Ulaanbaatar. Their latest research looked at data for 4,242 new and old apartments. 

As of the end of last year, prices for apartments have decreased by 5.8 percent. The latest study shows that during the last six months, prices per one square meter have been falling continuously.
The average price for a new apartment is the lowest in Songinokhairkhan district, and the highest in Sukhbaatar district. In Sukhbaatar district, prices per one square meter for a new apartment average 3 million MNT, and in Songinokhairkhan district, they average 1.6 million MNT.
