The President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj, has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Mongolia, Christopher Stuart. Ambassador Stuart is going to return to the UK after the end of his appointment in Mongolia.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Stuart expressed his gratitude to the President of Mongolia.
President Ts.Elbegdorj said, “We would like to express gratitude for your considerable contributions to the development of cooperation between our two countries during these three years of work as an ambassador.”
The United Kingdom is one of the first countries to acknowledge Mongolia as an independent country. The diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and the UK was established in 1963, and since that time, the relationship between the two countries has been developing continuously.
The President mentioned that Mongolia has future plans for cooperation with the United Kingdom in the mining sector and the stock exchange market.
President Ts.Elbegdorj noted that cooperation in the economic sector has been developing more rapidly in the last few years. He expressed his hope for success in the future work of Ambassador Christopher Stuart and wished him good health.
