The State National Song And Dance Academic Ensemble of Mongolia is to stage epic tales of the legendary history of the Mongolian Empire's queens on stage.
“Legend of the Great Queens of Mongolia”, the saga of nine beautiful and wise queens from Goo Maral and Alungoo to Oulen, Burte, Durgunu, Sorkhagtani, Chimbai, Samar, and of course, Mandukhai, will be told in the language of dance on the stage of the State National Song And Dance Academic Ensemble, at 7:00 p.m., on January 29 and 30th.
The ballet “Legend of the Great Queens of Mongolia” is unique in its telling – through dance – of the history of the great queens of the Mongol Empire, who are remembered in history for their great merits while fighting for independence and sovereignty.
Produced by G.Tsogtgerel, the director of the State National Song And Dance Academic Ensemble, the libretto (composition) of the ballet was written by N.Bold, and the performance will be directed by D.Bayarbaayar. The musical composition was written by M.Birvaa and composed by State Honored composer B.Munkhbold.
“Legend of the Great Queens of Mongolia” will be guided by the conductor of the State National Song And Dance Academic Ensemble, N.Buyanbaatar.
