President Ts.Elbegdorj held a business meeting with Mongolian business leaders at Best Western Premier Tuushin hotel on Wednesday.
During the meeting, which lasted for three hours, President Ts.Elbegdorj exchanged views with local entrepreneurs and business owners.
A draft bill has been proposed to support the export of value added goods, and national production and services to replace imports through the President's policy action plan.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat, Food and Agriculture Minister R.Burmaa, Construction and Urban Development Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, and officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Customs General Authority, National Statistics Office, business unions, and representatives of businesses in the wool and cashmere, leather, apparel, printing, packaging, cement, concrete, metal, construction materials, cattle, agriculture, and dairy industry. Representatives from Erdenet Mining Corporation, Darkhan Metallurgical Plant, Milk LLC, Darkhan Nekhii LLC, Mon-Suu LLC, Mongol Shevro LLC, Gobi Cashmere, Goyo LLC, Gatsuurt LLC, Gazar Shim LLC, MCS, and Teso were also in attendance.
The business representatives shared ideas and opinions at the meeting, and President Ts.Elbegdorj and Minister D.Erdenebat spoke about how to implement the ideas suggested by the business leaders in their closing addresses.
