Dozens of alcohol related incidents in the city have been reported following celebrations for the upcoming new year.

Reports between December 9 through 15 indicated that 189 people who were diagnosed with alcohol poisoning went to district hospitals, the Center of Mental Health and Narcology, and Enerel Hospital for medical care.  Twenty-nine people had serious cases of alcohol poisoning and required hospitalization.

Due to the high number of reported cases, a warning is being issued advising against excessive alcohol consumption and the unintended consequences of alcohol abuse during New Year's celebrations.
